Caution: There are four achievements in Hangman that you will have to do a whole extra run if you miss them, see below for details. The other modes are quicker and more forgiving. More achievements are very likely as the game has been receiving regular updates. Achievement descriptions are mostly self-explanatory.
Useful resources:
Google Maps
List of countries by continent (note: some are unused in game, mainly tiny countries towards the end of each continent in the list)
Normal mode: Finishing a game with all countries found unlocks the leaderboard #1 achievement.
All the connect X to Y achievements can be done in Normal mode; some outright tell you what to type.
Jumbo mode:
Combo is not timed, look at the highlighted adjacent countries for a hint. One easy way is to start in Europe, proceed around Asia and then through Africa. Autonomous territories and the like are grouped with the country that owns them, so other strategies are possible.
Hangman mode:
You may want to look up the flag and location of the four special countries before playing so you don't miss the achievements by accident: get Fiji by guessing I last, get Mexico by guessing X last, get Qatar by guessing Q last, get Zimbabwe by guessing Z last.
You will have to finish a game with all countries found.
For finishing a game with one life remaining, simply start a new game, get down to one life, and click Save to end the game and get the achievement.
Use whatever method works best for you; I found it fastest to use Google Maps for the larger countries (if you have a large or second monitor, you can scroll to zoom without the game window losing focus) and for the small ones, take a screenshot of the flag and put it into image search.
These achievements are not labeled as Hangman in the descriptions, but they all came in the February 2026 updates.
The order of countries seems to be random each game.
Blitz 120s (Multiplayer):
Requires an alt or partner. If doing with an alt, you will only need 2 hours for the MP achievements, and potentially could fully idle with script. Remember to find one country per game.
The easiest way to boost each other is for the winner to find one country, then just wait out the 2-minute timer. This means 200 minutes semi-idle for 2 people to complete, not including delays and lobby search time. If there is an audio cue for round end at all, it is very quiet.
Both players press Space when the match is over for quicker rematch. However, the game might not match you correctly if you press it immediately (then one player has to exit to menu and match again). It might help to wait a few seconds after round end, or (if playing with a partner) have the person getting wins always exit to menu and rejoin from there; waiting until the multiplayer button shows an available lobby is the most reliable method.
You only have 12 minutes for a game in both Normal and Jumbo modes, so it may be helpful to wait to attempt leaderboard, speed, and high combo achievements until you get a feel for the game and which countries don't count (autonomous territories, etc), but difficulty partly depends on typing speed/accuracy and it's faster if you know countries (or flags in Hangman). To end a run, you can quit and restart, or use the Save button to submit a score early.
You can change language in the main menu, but alternate name corrections were only submitted in English so far (the dev's native language is French I believe).
