Most achievements can be done against bots, except one that requires a real player.
You still need to play multiplayer to rank up (you can host your own server) and must finish each session for points to count.
You must get a set number of kills with each weapon. After completing those, switch to Instagib (enable it in Advanced Options when creating a server). It makes kills much faster.
For XP farming, play CTF. It keeps the timer running, allowing you to earn the most points per minute. Let bots capture the flag while you farm kills, they rarely focus you. Expect ~6,000–7,000 points per hour. You need 64,000 XP for the final rank (minimum ~11 hours).
Do not play Survival from the Single Player menu. Instead, go to Single Player → Tournament and select the “sv - boosted / offensive” map. Bots are much easier there, and the buildings help you lose planes tailing you.
