General notes

This mod is very similar in scope to "Half Life: Restored" except for the "Marathon" achievement which involves completing Hazard Course, Uplink and the Main Game back to back - therefore the console cheese isn't as effective as it is in Restored, since trying to simply beat the game by going directly to the ending map (after beating Hazard Course and Uplink naturally since they're so short) doesn't pop Marathon.

The missables in this mod (on release) mostly rely on exploration, either having to find caches or doing map-specific events like the Questionable Ethics experiments or using the hand drier in the locker room and trying to gain access to Sector C without wearing your HEV Suit during Anomalous Materials (and getting berated by Barney for it), many of these being very well documented or easy to spot with some detours.

The console cheese works the same way: sv_cheats 1, then use any commands you want, like God. Save, set sv_cheats back to 0, then load that save - any console command effects will remain but achievements will be enabled again. One thing to note is that the command to give you your suit can be buggy, resulting in having to either play certain levels without a suit or having to play from an earlier point and get to where you want to. If you want to make the 100% extremely easy, just do the above steps at the start of Anomalous Materials, activating God mode and leaving it on for the remainder of the playthrough, though be wary, the game features a lot of inescapable pits and softlocks that normally just kill you, so save often before making a risky maneuver.

500 Headcrab Workshop cheese:
The only "kill X amount of enemy" achievement that truly is a grind is the "Bye bye headhumpers!" achievement, since there aren't enough headcrabs across Uplink and Half Life 1 for it. However, the "207headcrabs" map by Frostlander works just fine. Simply subscribe to it on the Workshop, then go in-game and activate it from the Workshop menu.
VERY IMPORTANT: Start a new game, go into the console and type in "map 207headcrabs", followed by a save and a reload of said save. One more thing to note is that gibbing the headcrabs does not count towards the achievement, so use the tau canon's primary attack as it one-shots headcrabs, then use the SMG and explosives carefully.

1/16/2026 Update, 10 new achievements

The latest update (as of 1/16/2026) has added 10 new achievements, most of which are very specific and tied to very obscure parts of the game:

Uplink Explorer
In the room where you find the crowbar, destroy the vending machine and wait for it to completely explode. Once it's tipped over, you will have to jump to the right of the steam hazard and interact with a very small red valve, which will open up a vent. Go through this vent until you reach the shotgun room, which is sealed if you don't use this vent.

Explorer VI
I have found this one to be extremely buggy - essentially when you reach the dying scientist that tells you to fire the rocket engine, you need to use the barnacle right nearby to rise up and reach a platform with the hidden chargers, however once you kill the barnacle, you simply fall straight down with no opportunity to move mid-air, which is possible sometimes in a straight-down fall.
To circumvent this issue, you will need to use console commands. At the bottom (kill the barnacle so you don't get snagged while flying upwards): enable sv_cheats, enable noclip, save. Disable sv_cheats and load the save and fly up into the area and use the chargers and the achievement should pop. To continue, enable sv_cheats, disable noclip, save. Disable sv_cheats and load the save.
Miscellaneous note: The devs misnumbered Explorer V and VI, VI is a "Blast Pit" achievement while V is an "On a Rail" achievement, the numbering should be the other way around to coincide with the actual chapter order

Explorer V
At the start of the chapter and after getting out of the water, the tram will hang a right, let it until you're past the incline with the filthy water and reach the fork in the road (visible box on the left nearly going out of sight), then reverse the tram, as you'll want the tram to go back to the other area instead of where it went when it hanged that right. Hop onto the area where the houndeyes are and continue on until you find a water pit with a bullsquid and barrels, where you'll have a lever on the right wall which will activate a bridge. Once you're past the bridge just continue until you find yourself at the elevator cache guarded by another bullsquid.

Explorer VII
At the start of Apprehension you will have to navigate through the water - the easiest solution is to hop off the starting tram and fall into the inner water pool, not the farthest one, as that one is generally where you end up if you fall with the tram which will require freeing some barrels to make your way to the inner side. Once in the body of water, make your way normally until you find the fork - on the right is the usual way where you exit the body of water and continue with the level, while the left leads towards an extra area where you will have to find a way to access the room (has a buster door and you can see SMG grenades through the grating) - and it's very simple, as there is a breakable vent door nearby which leads to the cache. Be careful though, as you can run out of oxygen here.

Explorer VIII
This achievement is another really buggy one that is best circumvented with console commands. After dealing with the initial area in "Forget about Freeman" and jumping into the "West" body of water, kill the Ichthyosaur and continue on, get past the 1st "crusher" obstacle and then swim upwards (not forwards) until you surface, where you will notice there is a ledge and a door. From what is assumed, you are meant to hop on the pipe in the middle and climb to the ledge, however there is some type of invisible wall that prevents this, which is made worse when combined with the steam. Therefore, using the console cheese like the
Explorer VI achievement is advised. The door is locked with a padlock, which can be broken with your crowbar. Use the charger and the achievement should pop.

Third time's the charm
Instead of sneaking past the Gargantua, you will have to kill it. This means you will have to fail the stealth within the level and be forced to trigger the alarms and fight everyone else. The "arena" will be the area with the Vortigaunt-calming pumps, the rocky "cave" inside has a HEV Scientist cache that contains uranium. Use any rockets you have + the gluon gun and it should die afterwards.

Explorer IX
During the factory area of Interloper, get to the very end (past the vent with the red particles that hang in the air) and make your way up using the 1st spiral elevator. Instead of going for the 2nd, notice that there are 2 "bridges" that lead into holes which glow red. Go inside either one of them and past their respective tunnels until you enter the spiral room, which is a dead end, however you will get the achievement.

Hello, Gordon!
For this achievement, you will have to destroy Nihilanth's crystals and damage him a bit so he sends out the portals. You will have to go through 2 irrelevant portal areas before reaching the relevant area - a very large room with alien trampolines and pools of water. You do not need the room variant which has the Gargantua inside, simply save and use the trampoline farthest from the upper platform with the healing pond, the trajectory set for the wall opposite of said platform. The place you're aiming for will be pretty dark, but the scientist's white clothes will give him away. Simply make the trampoline jump until you land on his platform and the achievement will pop.
