Crashes:
For me the game started crashing on the pirates vs CP9 mission. Some fixes to crashing and black screens:
- Disable playback, however you should try to keep it on for as long as you can to prevent not viewing any scenes.
- Play in a lower resolution. I put it in windowed, and used 720p. I put my monitor in the same resolution and got borderless with the 'Borderless Gaming' app.
- If crashing persists, use 2 player mode. It disables every cutscene that would crash the game. I only had to resort to this on Dressrosa. The only problem is that you NEED to view every scene to get all the gallery events. However if you re-enable playback, view an event, then you lose, that counts in the gallery.
Tips:
- It might not be obvious, but if you scroll down where you level up characters using coins, you get a new page to get a new skill. This is a skill that charges 2 special bars instead of 1, but is much stronger. Recommended to get it as soon as you can. If you scroll down 1 further you can see how to upgrade to break through growth limit.
- Focus on Treasure Events and other things you can do in the level for all the legend points. Check if you need to use a specific character. Also take note that some Treasure Events are badly translated.
- In Dream Log, the bosses might drop specific coins you need to break through growth. Beat the final level to reset every boss again.
- Switch characters as soon as you reach crew level 5 with one. You need to get a lot of characters to level 5.
Grind
When you completed all 100% in Legend Log, and S ranked every single Dream Log, you should mostly just have gallery and crew levels left.
You might be missing some specific things in the gallery, like battling Shanks in the Dream Log with different characters. I believe it should be enough to use Luffy, Blackbeard and another older character. I believe it's Luffy, younger, older character, but Blackbeard unlocks an extra coin you might need.
Other than that, if you're missing anything in any levels in the legend log, try to view all the cutscenes without skipping anything in that level.
For crew levels there are 2 strats. First of all, you need !'s to get crew levels. You gain it by being in a kizuna rush. When you activate kizuna rush, I would recommend using it until it's about to expire, then either activate the attack or call off the rush and save up for a new rush.
You can either repeat the last level spamming R1 with Fujitora. His charge attack with R1 is insanely broken, and will kill everything. I would go to 9999 !'s and repeat it. On this level your crew can be anyone except the strawhats, Ace and Sabo. Make sure to prioritize a non playable character.
Or you can use playable characters, and make sure you play levels that spawn non playable characters as your crew. I don't recommend the last level with just any character, as they can struggle there.
