The deflect 20,000K bullets has to be claimed in the lobby menu.
I used the spider bosses' last phase with the first character on the middle difficulty to farm deflects. It's the attack where twin bullets get shot from the ceiling and you need to attack the three spiders to stun her.
The side stories might not be needed, I did them anyways because they were short.
