Some Pro times are considerably easier than others, and it's not always the first 10 that are the easiest. Don't be afraid to move on if you're stuck, or to come back later when you have a better understanding of strafe jumping from doing the Jumper achievements. Check the video guide to make sure it's not a routing issue.
JUMPER/SANDBOX Mode
Completing the Jumper/movement related achievements (including "Yes, Drill Sergeant!") requires understanding and being able to perfrom strafe jumps. This movement tech is rather unintuitive but you can use this helpful video guide if you aren't sure where to start.
When doing the Jumper Original map pack, be sure to use the manual checkpoint system for saving your position after each jump. This is called the "gizmo" in the keybind settings. Also make sure that your "Slide" action is bound to something (can be same keybind as crouch), as it might not be by default.
Regarding "Life's a Beach", the "STRAFE TRAINING" map required is the unnamed area adjacent to the Movement Training video demonstration room; it's directly across from the screen.
