The Upgrade system is your long game. Three strategic branches:

Risk Hedging — insurance buffers, legal protection, emergency cushions
Revenue Growth — income streams, investment vehicles, credit leverage
Physical & Mental Capital — resilience, health, the ability to keep going

Nodes unlock progressively. Some require prerequisites you've built through play. The difference between a player who survives and one who thrives is usually visible here.
