In response, humanity created [Pandoras], chosen girls with extraordinary powers far beyond human limits,

and [Limiters], chosen boys who can neutralize Nova's Freezing ability and amplify the Pandoras' powers.

Together, they became humanity's last line of resistance against Nova.

However, despite their efforts, humanity suffered a catastrophic defeat at the hands of Nova, seemingly beyond recovery.

Many Limiters perished, while the Pandoras, humanity's last hope, succumbed to mental corruption from Nova, leading to amnesia or berserk behavior, accelerating humanity's march toward extinction.
